Due to our clients’ requirements and timeframes, only candidates with eligibility to work in New Zealand will be considered for this role.

Key Responsibilities

· Installing passive fire protection systems such as fire-rated walls, ceilings, sealants, collars, wraps, and barriers according to specifications and compliance standards.

· Interpreting and following architectural and technical drawings to ensure correct placement of fire protection materials.

· Measuring, cutting, and fitting fire-resistant materials around service penetrations, joints, and structural elements.

· Applying intumescent coatings and fire-stopping products in accordance with manufacturer instructions and regulatory requirements.

· Ensuring all installations meet local and national fire safety codes and building regulations.

· Documenting completed work accurately, including taking photos, completing reports, and updating system records.

· Participating in toolbox meetings and training sessions as required.

· Keeping accurate records of completed work, maintenance activities, and any issues encountered during installation or service.

· Working both independently and as part of a team to meet project deadlines and maintain high safety standards


Requirements:

· A 3+ years’ experienced as Passive fire protection installer

· Strong understanding of fire stopping systems,products, codes, and regulations

· Ability to read blueprints,passive fire designs layout, and technical documents

· Strong communication skills and a customer service-oriented attitude

· Own tools and reliable transportation preferred
